Miller has been dealing with lower back tightness in camp, which has kept him from making his Cactus League debut. However, throwing a bullpen session is a positive step, and he could avoid starting the season on the injured list. Last season, he posted a 1.50 ERA and 1.47 WHIP with 22 strikeouts in 30 innings and is expected to provide the San Francisco Giants with a left-handed option out of the bullpen this season.
