Shane Bieber (forearm) ruled out for Opening Day
by Bruno Mulé | Blue Jays Correspondent | Fri, Mar 13th 11:22am EDT
Bieber has been ruled out for Opening Day, and the Blue Jays have been deliberately cautious with his return after he dealt with forearm fatigue last season. He hasn't yet advanced to mound work this spring and will continue throwing from flat ground for at least another five-to-seven days before being reevaluated late next week. (Arden Zwelling)
Fantasy Impact:
Once cleared for normal bullpen sessions, Bieber will likely need at least six weeks to build up before he's ready to pitch in games.
