Jett Williams, who was acquired by the Brewers from the Mets in the Freddy Peralta trade this offseason, will open the year in the Triple-A Nashville as he was reassigned to minor league camp. (Adam McCalvy on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Williams, the third-ranked prospect in the Brewers organization and 71st overall according to Baseball America, was limited to nine at bats this spring as he dealt with a quad injury. He hit .333 with a double, a triple, and a pair of RBI. Williams split time between Double-A and Triple-A in the Mets' organization last season and combined to hit .261 with 17 home runs and 34 stolen bases in 130 games. His power and speed combination, as well as his ability to play multiple positions, makes him an exciting name to watch this season. Only 22 years old, Williams will open the year in Triple-A Nashville, but he could make his big league debut at some point in 2026.
