Kameron Misner optioned to Triple-A Omaha

by David Leisering | Royals Correspondent | Tue, Mar 17th 9:46pm EDT

Outfielder Kameron Misner will open the 2026 season in Triple-A Omaha as he has been optioned by the Kansas City Royals. (Kansas City Royals on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Selected 35th overall by the Marlins in the 2021 MLB Draft, Misner appeared in 71 games for the Rays last season and batted .213 with five home runs and eight stolen bases. He was traded to Kansas City last November and, in his first spring with the Royals, went 6-for-26 with a home run. The recent signing of Starling Marte hurt Misner's chances of making the Royals' opening day roster, but he would be a call-up option should injuries arise in the Kansas City outfield.
