by Bruno Mulé | Cardinals Correspondent | Wed, Mar 18th 2:10pm EDT

After working primarily as a reliever in 2024, Liberatore made all 29 of his appearances as a starter last season, going 8-12 with a 4.21 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 122:40 K:BB across 151.2 innings. He's carried that momentum into spring, posting a 2.70 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 14:1 K:BB over 10 innings. (St. Louis Cardinals)

Fantasy Impact:

The Cardinals announced Wednesday that Liberatore will start the March 26 season opener against the Rays — his first career Opening Day assignment — against the team that selected him 16th overall in the 2018 Draft.
