Pinango struggled in the spring, going just 3-for-24 with a home run in 17 games with the Blue Jays. The 24-year-old has had a decent six-year career in the minors, batting .265 with 49 home runs and 81 stolen bases in 637 games. He made it to Triple-A Buffalo for the first time last season and hit .235 with seven home runs in 84 games. Pinango will continue to develop in Buffalo.
