Brennen Davis reassigned to minor league camp

by David Leisering | Mariners Correspondent | Fri, Mar 20th 9:05pm EDT

Outfielder Brennen Davis has been reassigned to minor league camp by the Seattle Mariners. (Seattle Mariners on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Davis had a great spring for Seattle, batting 12-for-34 (.353) with an OPS of 1.274. He hit four doubles, four home runs, and drove in six in 15 games. The 26-year-old was a former top prospect, ranked as high as #16 according to Baseball America prior to the 2022 season. However, he has not been on the field for more than 71 games in a season since 2021. Davis batted .271 with 17 home runs in just 50 games in the Yankees' organization last season. There is still time for Davis to turn into a solid producer at the major league level and, if he can carry his spring into Triple-A Tacoma, he may get a crack sometime this season.
