Cesar Salazar does not make Opening Day roster

Astros catcher Cesar Salazar has not made the club's Opening Day roster, according to manager Joe Espada. (Matt Kawahara on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Salazar has been battling veteran Christian Vazquez for the backup catcher spot behind Yainer Diaz, but it appears he will begin the season in the minor leagues. The 30-year-old hit just .182 without a homer in 31 spring plate appearances and owns a career .232 average without a homer alongside a .586 OPS across 67 career MLB plate appearances.
