Brown has underwhelmed of late, allowing three earned runs or more in five of his last seven trips to the mound. The right-hander remains one of the more impactful options as part of an underperforming Astros rotation for manager Joe Espada, carrying a 3.68 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with a 3-2 record and 9.5 K/9 ratio across 12 starts.
