Gerrit Cole (elbow) targeting May return

Cole had Tommy John surgery with an internal brace in March 2025 and made a couple of spring appearances on his way back, allowing one run with a 3:0 K:BB over 2.2 innings. The Yankees placed him on the 15-day IL Wednesday as he continues his recovery. (Yankees PR)
