Castillo is really the No. 4 starter for the Mariners, but he is opening the season fifth in the rotation because the Mariners likely want Emerson Hancock to avoid the Yankees. Castillo doesn't hold the same upside he has once had, but he should continue to eat a lot of innings for the Mariners rotation.
