Munetaka Murakami goes deep in lopsided loss

Munetaka Murakami did what he could in an otherwise forgettable season opener, going 1-for-2 with a home run, two walks, one runs scored, and one RBI in a 14-2 loss to the Brewers Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Murakami signed in the offseason after posting a 1.051 OPS with 24 home runs and 52 RBI across 69 contests with the Yakult Swallows of the Japan Central league. The slugger will look to bolster a White Sox lineup infused with young talent in 2026.
