The Colorado Rockies placed Mickey Moniak on the 10-day injured list on Friday due to a sprained right finger, retroactive to March 24. (Thomas Harding on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Moniak suffered the injury during Monday’s spring training game while diving back into first base. While he is sidelined, Edouard Julien is expected to take over as the Rockies’ designated hitter against right-handed pitchers. In a corresponding move, Braxton Fulford was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque.
