Andres Gimenez stays hot, homers in Monday's loss to Rockies

Blue Jays shortstop Andres Gimenez stayed hot with a solo homer despite his team taking a 14-5 loss to the visiting Colorado Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
The Blue Jays were down 13-1 at the time of Gimenez's solo home run in the eighth inning, although the long ball remains a positive sign for the 27-year-old. After hitting just .210 with seven homers in 101 games last season, Gimenez has hit .500 with a triple and a homer through his first four games of the season. If he can approach the 2022-2023 figures he posted in 2026, he could make his way back to fantasy relevance.
