Tyler Mahle allowed five earned runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings in Friday's loss to the Mets.
Fantasy Impact:
Mahle has struggled to miss opposing bats to begin the season on the mound, allowing a .351 batting average over his first two starts. After Friday's outing, the right-hander now has a 7.00 ERA and 1.78 WHIP to go with an 0-2 record across two starts and will look to bounce back for first-year manager Tony Vitello as part of a revamped back end of the rotation as the season continues.
