Trevor Megill locks down save in first game of doubleheader Saturday
by Chris Schommer | Brewers Correspondent | Sat, Apr 4th 5:58pm EDT
Trevor Megill was able to overcome control issues out of the bullpen to escape with a save in the first game of a doubleheader for the Brewers Saturday, allowing zero runs on zero hits while also striking out two and walking two in a 5-2 win over the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Megill has started the season as a mostly reliable option out of the bullpen, converting both of his save chances in three relief appearances. The 32-year-old will look to harness control issues while remaining a stable closing option for fantasy managers as the season moves forward, posting a 1.67 WHIP and 3.00 ERA to go along with a 1.67 K/BB ratio to this point.
