Tatsuya Imai impressive in second start Saturday against A's

by Chris Schommer | Astros Correspondent | Sun, Apr 5th 10:02am EDT

Tatsuya Imai allowed zero earned runs on three hits and three walks while striking out nine over 5 2/3 innings in Saturday's win over the Athletics.

Fantasy Impact:

Imai flashed dominant stuff after a forgettable first start for the Astros, posting a 3.00 K/BB ratio to go along with a .200 opponents batting average in Saturday's win. The right-hander will need to dissipate his early-season control issues moving forward to offer fantasy managers a reliable starting option in the middle of a revamped Houston rotation for manager Joe Espada, posting a 1-0 record with a 4.32 ERA and 1.56 WHIP to go with a 1.86 K/BB ratio across two starts.
