Aroldis Chapman earns third save amid velocity dip

With temperatures below 40 degrees by the ninth inning Tuesday, Chapman's six fastballs averaged 93.9 mph and topped out at 96.8 mph — below his season average of 96.8 mph entering the game and down from 98.4 mph in 2025. He walked Sal Frelick with one out before inducing a game-ending double play from Blake Perkins.
