Dylan Cease racks up eight punchouts in no-decision versus Dodgers
by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Thu, Apr 9th 4:35pm EDT
Blue Jays right-hander Dylan Cease allowed two runs (one earned) with eight strikeouts across five innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Cease had an elevated pitch count in this one, not only due to the eight strikeouts, but also because of the four walks he issued in an eventual 4-3 win. The outing lowers the veteran's ERA to 2.45 across his first three starts with his new team, although he's thrown just 14 2/3 innings in that time. He will aim for more length in his next scheduled start on Wednesday against the Brewers.
