by Chris Schommer | Athletics Correspondent | Fri, Apr 10th 7:37am EDT
Jeffrey Springs allowed no runs on one hit and two walks while striking out six over seven innings in Thursday's 1-0 win over the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Springs continues a steady start to the season on the mound, allowing two earned runs or less in each of his first three starts. The left-hander has offered manager Mark Kotsay one of the few stable starting options in the rotation early on, carrying a 1.47 ERA and 0.76 WHIP to go with a 2.50 K/BB ratio and a 2-0 record across three starts.
