Nolan McLean charged with loss despite six scoreless innings

McLean is 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 20:6 K:BB on the season and lines up for Tuesday's start against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. He held Arizona scoreless through six innings Thursday before returning for the seventh, allowing a leadoff walk and a one-out single before being lifted. Luke Weaver entered and allowed both inherited runners to score along with additional runs, leaving McLean charged with the loss.
