Baz allowed three earned runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out four over five innings in Friday's loss to the Giants.

After the outing, Baz now has a 4.50 ERA and 1.56 WHIP with a 0-1 record across three starts. Baz struggled with command, throwing just 59 strikes out of his 100 pitches while walking two. Baz will look to clean that up in his next scheduled start against Arizona.
