Dylan Dodd has been optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett by the Atlanta Braves. Rolddy Munoz has been recalled to replace Dodd on the active roster. (Barrett Sallee on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Dodd pitched three scoreless innings to earn his first career save in Sunday's 13-1 victory over the Guardians. He allowed one hit while striking out two in his first appearance of the season. Originally a starter in the Braves' organization, Dodd was used solely as a reliever for the first time last season and pitched to a 3.60 ERA with a 0.94 WHIP in 35 innings with Atlanta. Dodd threw 33 pitches on Sunday, so Munoz was recalled to replace him as a reinforcement to the bullpen. Dodd should be back up soon.
