Mike Trout went 2-for-5 with three runs scored, two home runs, and five runs batted in, but the Angels dropped an 11-10 decision to the Yankees in New York on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

Trout, who had not hit a home run since the second game of the season, snapped a 13-game homerless drought with a pair of bombs on Monday. The slugger took Jake Bird deep in the top of the sixth for a three-run homer and then launched a two-run shot off of Camilo Doval in the eighth. Trout has heated up again and is now 5-for-12 with six runs scored and seven runs batted in over his last three games. He has raised his average 40 points over the stretch and is back up to .224 (13-for-58) for the season.
