Brandon Sproat turns in strong performance Thursday against Blue Jays
by Chris Schommer | Brewers Correspondent | Thu, Apr 16th 8:43pm EDT
Brandon Sproat allowed one earned run on four hits while also walking one and striking out six over 6 2/3 innings in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Sproat has settled down on the mound after a dismal start to the season, allowing less than two earned runs in each of his last two starts. The 25-year-old will look to continue to offer manager Pat Murphy the stable starting option in the Milwaukee rotation fantasy managers have seen recently, currently posting a 1.71 WHIP and 6.88 ERA to go along with a 1.45 K/BB ratio and 0-1 record through four starts.
