The Dodgers have recalled outfielder Ryan Ward from Triple-A Oklahoma City. (Los Angeles Dodgers on Twitter)

Ward was recalled to take the roster spot of Freddie Freeman, who was placed on the paternity list on Sunday. The 28-year-old has yet to make his big league debut, but has raked Triple-A pitching for a .324 average with four homers, three stolen bases, and a 1.020 OPS through 18 games this season.
