Jeffrey Springs allowed seven earned runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out seven over five innings in a loss to the White Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Springs continues a solid start to the season on the mound, allowing two earned runs or less in four of five starts. The left-hander remains one of the few stable starting options in the Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 0.98 WHIP and 3.34 ERA with a 3-1 record and 3.00 K/BB through five starts.
