Lacy, the highly-touted No. 4 overall pick from the 2020 draft, has dealt with a wealth of injuries in his professional career, including two Tommy John surgeries. The 26-year-old has pitched just 80 minor league innings in his career, and none since the 2022 season. He is currently recovering from his second Tommy John surgery he underwent in 2025.
