Gavin Williams survives six-run scare in win over Toronto
by Matthew Adam | Guardians Correspondent | Sat, Apr 25th 8:04am EDT
Gavin Williams allowed six earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings in Friday's 8-6 win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Williams did just enough to cash a win despite the mess, although he can be forgiven, as this was his first bad start of the season. After the victory, he now owns a 3.28 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with a 4-1 record through six starts. He will look to get back on track in his next start, which will be on Wednesday against the Rays.
