David Bednar allowed two hits and struck out one to earn the save in Monday’s 4-2 win over the Rangers.

Bednar continues a strong stretch out of the bullpen, holding opponents scoreless in four of his last five appearances. The right-hander continues to offer fantasy managers one of the more reliable closing options early on, posting a 3.09 ERA and 1.63 WHIP with eight saves in 12 appearances.
