Bryce Elder works six solid innings Thursday afternoon

Bryce Elder allowed just one run on six hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Tigers.
Fantasy Impact:
Elder deserved better than a no-decision for this effort. The righty did have plenty of traffic on the bases, but he battled through, exiting the game after the sixth inning with the Braves up 2-1. Unfortunately for Elder, the bullpen couldn't not make the lead stand. Elder now sports a 1.88 ERA and 1.05 WHIP through seven starts, making him one of the season's early surprises.
