Daulton Varsho homers in loss to Twins Thursday

by Brenton Kemp | Blue Jays Correspondent | Thu, Apr 30th 11:41pm EDT

Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho hit a solo home run in a 7-1 loss to the Twins on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Varsho's fourth-inning solo blast started the scoring in this one, but ended up as the Jays' lone offense in a lopsided loss to kick off a four-game set in Minneapolis on Thursday. The long ball was the 29-year-old's fourth of the season and just his second extra-base hit over his last 13 games. The veteran is slashing .235/.312/.408 with four homers, 12 runs, eight RBI, and two stolen bases across 29 games on the season.
