Grant Holmes allowed six runs (five earned) on seven hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings in Friday's 8-6 win over the Rockies.

Holmes labored through the first frame, giving up five runs. However, the righty settled in and surrendered just one additional tally over the next four innings. The Braves bats came to life late, pulling off a big comeback victory after Holmes endured the rough opening inning. He will carry a 4.34 ERA and 2-1 record into his next start against the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon.
