Fantasy Impact:
Anthony exited Monday’s 5-4 win over the Detroit Tigers in the bottom of the second inning with a right wrist injury that he sustained during his first at-bat of the contest. While it is encouraging that X-rays came back negative, the Red Sox will have him undergo further evaluation to ensure everything checks out. With Anthony flying back to Boston, fantasy managers should expect him to miss at least Tuesday’s contest, with an update on his status likely coming after additional testing.
