Gus Varland struck out two batters while allowing one hit over 1.1 scoreless frames to earn the save in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
After Thursday's win over the Twins, Varland now has a 3.07 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with four saves, two blown saves and four holds across 16 appearances. He is expected to continue to operate as the primary closer until Clayton Beeter (forearm) returns from the injured list.
