Kervin Castro optioned to Triple-A

Kervin Castro has been optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The move was made to make room for Carlos Rodon (elbow), who was activated from the IL and will make his season debut on Sunday. (New York Yankees on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Castro was called up on Friday and appeared in two games out of the Yankees' bullpen. The righthander allowed a run on two hits while striking out two in two innings of work. It was his first action at the major league level since the 2022 season. Castro is likely near the top of the list for another call up at some point this summer.
