Fantasy Impact:
Venezuelan prospect Jose Requena will head to the Diamondbacks' organization in exchange for Thomas, who was designated for assignment this past week. A solid defensive outfielder, Thomas has really struggled with the bat this season, posting a .181/.222/.340 slash line with two homers across 100 plate appearances.
