Kevin Gausman allowed six earned runs on 10 hits while striking out five over 4 2/3 innings in Monday’s loss to the Rays.
Fantasy Impact:
Gausman has provided mixed results on the mound of late, allowing three or more earned runs in three of his last six starts. The right-hander continues to fight consistency issues on the mound early in the season for manager John Schneider, carrying a 3.86 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with a 2-3 record and 8.4 K/9 ratio across nine starts.
