Reid Detmers saddled with loss Wednesday

Reid Detmers allowed four runs - three earned - on six hits, walked two, and struck out six in 5.2 innings on Wednesday as the Angels dropped a 4-2 decision to the Guardians.
Fantasy Impact:
Detmers surrendered two runs in the first, including a leadoff home run to Angel Martinez, as Cleveland jumped on the lefthander early. But, he settled in, allowing an unearned run in the third before hitting a rough patch again in the sixth. Detmers has now allowed three earned runs or fewer in seven of his nine starts, but has dropped three straight decisions. He will take a 1-4 record with a 4.38 ERA into his next scheduled start against the Athletics on Tuesday.
