Houck continues to recover from Tommy John surgery he underwent in August 2025. He began his throwing program in February and has made significant progress, now making 75 throws out to 105 feet three days a week and 30 throws at 60 feet on the other three days, while mixing in changeups. He is aiming for a return to the Boston Red Sox before the end of the regular season.
