J.T. Ginn allowed two earned runs on two hits and one walk while striking out 10 over eight innings in Monday’s 2-1 loss to the Angels.

Ginn continues a steady stretch on the mound of late, allowing two earned runs or less in four of his last five starts. The right-hander remains one of the more reliable options in an inconsistent Athletics rotation for manager Mark Kotsay, posting a 2.98 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with a 2-2record and 7.7 K/9 ratio through 11 trips to the mound.
