Oliver Dunn has been traded from the Chicago White Sox to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for lefthander Joe Rock. (Chicago White Sox on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Dunn, who will head to his fifth organization since 2022, was off to a great start at Triple-A Charlotte, batting .296 with eight home runs and 33 runs batted in across 40 games. He was also 9-for-10 in the stolen base department. Dunn has some pop and speed as evidenced by 51 home runs and 71 stolen bases across seven minor league seasons. The utility infielder played parts of two seasons with the Brewers in 2024 and 2025, hitting just .206 with 51 strikeouts in 145 plate appearances. Dunn will likely report to Triple-A Durham but could earn a call-up at some point if he keeps swinging the way he has been.
