Juan Soto went 2-for-4 in a loss to the Nationals with two home runs, two runs scored, and three RBI.

Soto continues a scorching stretch at the plate, collecting hits in eight of his last nine games. The outfielder continues to provide manager Carlos Mendoza one of the more explosive options in an inconsistent Mets lineup, carrying a .951 OPS with nine homers, 20 RBI, 21 runs scored, and four steals through 34 games.
