Donovan Walton went 3-for-4 with three singles and a pair of runs scored as the Angels defeated the Tigers, 7-1, on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact:
Walton came into the afternoon with just two hits in 15 at bats since his call-up from Triple-A on May 22. His three-hit performance on Thursday was the first of his career, which has spanned 78 games across parts of seven big league seasons. He was hitting .282 with seven home runs and 33 RBI in 42 games at Triple-A Salt Lake before joining the Angels. Walton has mostly played third base since arriving in Los Angeles and is filling in for Yoan Moncada while he is on the shelf.
