Fermin was shelled for five earned runs on four hits, including a homer, and two walks in just 2/3 of an inning on Monday against the Rockies, leading to his demotion. The 24-year-old had otherwise allowed a run in just two of his other 15 outings on the season and owns a 5.40 ERA through 15 innings with the Angels this season.
