Bryce Elder bounces back with solid outing Tuesday night

by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Wed, Jun 3rd 9:50am EDT

Bryce Elder gave up three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out six across 6 2/3 innings in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Blue Jays.

Fantasy Impact:

This was not Elder's best performance of the season, but it was a nice rebound from his worst last week in Boston. Staked to an early advantage, Elder surrendered the lead on a two-run homer in the second inning. After that, he settled in to allow just one more run over the next four-plus frames, eventually earning his fifth win of the season. Elder is sporting a strong 2.63 ERA and 1.08 WHIP through 13 starts.
