Grant Holmes fails to make it out of fourth inning Tuesday night
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Wed, Jun 10th 9:51am EDT
Grant Holmes allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two over 3 2/3 innings in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the White Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
Holmes is not really a workhorse at the back of the Braves' rotation, but this was the first time in 13 starts this year that he has not lasted at least four full frames. The righty was staked to an early four-run advantage, but he had trouble hanging onto it. This one ultimately was not decided until the 10th inning, so Holmes was long out of the equation by then. He will move forward with a decent 4.05 ERA and 1.34 WHIP.
