Gerrit Cole allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over four innings in Tuesday’s win over the Guardians.

Cole has settled down on the mound since returning from injury, allowing two earned runs or less in three of his four trips to the mound. The right-hander remains a steady starting option despite decreased strikeout numbers to this point, carrying a 2.45 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with a 1-1 record and 7.4 K/9 ratio through four starts.
