Alex Lange took the loss Saturday against the Astros after allowing one earned run on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter over 1.2 innings.

After the defeat, Lange now has a 4.13 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with a 9.6 K/9, 4 saves and 1 hold through 30 appearances. This makes back-to-back outings with a home run allowed, and the Royals are running out of options. John Schreiber, Daniel Lynch and Matt Strahm pitched earlier in the game, with Lynch being the only one with a scoreless outing.
