Lucas Giolito allowed three runs on seven hits over five innings in a bulk relief role with two strikeouts and three walks in a loss on Monday against the Cardinals.

Giolito pitched behind an opener in Wandy Peralta who tossed a scoreless opening frame. Giolito has continued to struggle pitching deep into starts. He'll face the Rangers next.
